And here I was, dark pacts made with unnameable entities, dozens of cats sacrificed, entire herds of gypsies put to the torch, all for naught.

Oh well, at least all that was fun.

Fantastic review, Vicar! I certainly need to watch this movie, it sounds fun as hell. Why no one has made a modern day undead biker movie is beyond my comprehension. The Duke of DVDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04931606833969681610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4032450846239938332.post-4489568350916700752010-03-23T02:57:24.034-05:002010-03-23T02:57:24.034-05:00The morgue guy looks like Captain Kangaroo (Bob Ke...The morgue guy looks like Captain Kangaroo (Bob Keeshan).Pierre Fournierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16109698812799559366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4032450846239938332.post-83316176904558966702010-03-22T23:32:32.359-05:002010-03-22T23:32:32.359-05:00Vicar, I saw this a few months ago on TCM Undergro...Vicar, I saw this a few months ago on TCM Underground and adored it. It was as if Eric von Zipper and his Rats had made a pact with the Devil and finally avenged themselves on Frankie and Annette, only to get The Finger in the end. And it has the best engine-propelled resurrection scene until Lone Wolf McQuade. Great choice for a review!Samuel Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934870299522899944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4032450846239938332.post-80485243632965991202010-03-22T20:26:58.682-05:002010-03-22T20:26:58.682-05:00Groovy review, man.

It's clearly the most plausible explanation! ;)

@Jami--According to imdb that's Denis Carey, not James Doohan, though the resemblance is rather striking. ;) The morgue drawers are rather Trek-like as well, as you rightly point out!The Vicar of VHShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06832137990485130735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4032450846239938332.post-81565979705051657492010-03-22T16:09:13.799-05:002010-03-22T16:09:13.799-05:00Is that Jimmy Doohan in the morgue? I about laughed myself sick at how all the other bikers had badass fonts for their names, and then Abby shows up with this cutesy Holly-Hobby script for hers.

My husband speculated, whilst watching this film, that someone had a brilliant vision of the cycle-emerging-from-the-grave sequence and then wrote an entire movie around it. Snarkery aside, I definitely love PSYCHOMANIA, but then again I *am* one of those Mod-scene worshippers. The Costuminatrixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01568789159814677586noreply@blogger.com
